The band is stiffer than I expected, but it stays put even on breezy beach walks, and the lightweight straw keeps my face shaded without weighing me down. Honestly, I forget I’m wearing it after a few minutes, which is exactly what I want for a long afternoon outdoors.

I wore this while weeding the flower beds for two hours and completely forgot it was on my head, it's so light. The straw brim does exactly what it's supposed to, keeping the sun off my face and neck without feeling bulky or hot.
